Welcome to Iceland. Arrive at Reykjavik international airport and proceed by your private transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this city on your own.

After your breakfast at the hotel, we check out and drive towards the Borgarfjörður area known for its beauty and as the site of most of the Icelandic Sagas. Take time to enjoy Reykholt, one of Iceland’s important historical sites, and the stunning Hraunfossar Lava Falls, a series of waterfalls formed by rivulets streaming out of Hallmundarhraun Lava. Close by are Barnafoss Waterfalls and Deildartunguhver hot Springs.

After your breakfast at the hotel, we check out and proceed to Snæfellsnes Peninsula known for its stunning nature, glaciers, waterfalls, and small villages enriched by history. Take time to take in all the area has to offer with a stop to explore Arnastapi village, Búðir Church, the black sands of Djúpalónssandur Beach, and the majestic Snæfellsjökul Glacier, which according to legend is one of earth’s seven energy points. Grundarfjörður village offers a spectacular view of Mt. Kirkjufell, Iceland‘s most photographed mountain, and Kirkjufellsfoss Waterfall.

After your breakfast at the hotel, we check out and travel around Tröllaskagi - the Troll Peninsula, you will see stunning ocean scenery and incredibly steep mountains. Your visit to Siglufjörður will give you tremendous insight into life in tiny and isolated Icelandic villages. On the way to your hotel for the night, you will pass through the farming heartland of Iceland, which is also a big horse farming area.
Continuing our journey to Siglufjörður, a beautiful fishing village with an incredible history. This town was overtaken by a Klondike-like gold rush atmosphere in the early 20th century when the tiny and isolated community became known as the herring fishing capital of the Atlantic.

After your breakfast at the hotel, we checkout and drive to the absolutely charming and still traditional fishing town of Dalvík, with its busy working harbour and fabulous views over Eyjafjörður and Hrísey Island.
The dramatic high mountains, home to some of the best ski slopes in Iceland, will be at your back.
The optional whale-watching boat trip starts at Dalvík harbour. You will skim over Eyjafjörður, going in whichever direction is best to see humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins, minke whales, and occasionally even blue whales. These tours are really successful when it comes to spotting whales. They are seen on 98% of tours. You will be surrounded by the incredible natural beauty of Eyjafjörður, the longest Fjord in Iceland. This journey will always take us through this beautiful little town amid the mountains close to the apex of the mesmerising Eyjafjörður Fjord (the Island Fjord).
Next continue the drive to Myvatn, en route a short stop at the Capital of the North, Akureyri. On arrival visit the Goðafoss Waterfall, one of the country’s most impressive waterfalls before continuing to Lake Mývatn area, one of the pearls of Icelandic nature with its unique natural environment, contrasting landscapes and where you can experience the most and the best of Iceland. End the day by taking a soothing dip in the natural wonder of Mývatn Nature Baths.

After your breakfast, head to the northern part of Vatnajökull National Park, which includes some of the most spectacular and diverse sights in Iceland such as Ásbyrgi Canyon, Dettifoss Waterfall and Hljóðaklettar Cliffs before driving onwards through the mystical barren landscape of Möðrudalsöræfi on your way to Egilsstaðir town.

After your breakfast at the hotel, we check out and drive along the Eastfjords, which is picturesque with a view of dramatic mountains, fjords and small fishing villages. The area has many interesting places, including villages such as Djúpivogur, Neskaupstaður, Seyðisfjörður and Fáskrúðsfjörður, which has a great view of Skrúður, a hollow cliff island that rises steeply out of the sea, east of the bay. Continue to Höfn town, known for its delicious lobster and dine at one of the local restaurants.

After your breakfast at the hotel, enjoy the spectacular scenery of the southeast coast, stop to explore the biggest glacial lagoon of its kind, Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon, its beauty will take your breath away. Enjoy the icebergs up close while sailing on the lagoon and watch seals play in the water. Take an unusual tour to Ingólfshöfði Cape on a hay wagon and stop in Skaftafell National Park, an ideal destination and popular wilderness area that offers hiking trails with stunning views.

After your breakfast at the hotel, today visit Iceland's beautiful south coast attractions including Fjaðrárgljúfur, a canyon located not far from Kirkjubæjarklaustur village. Take time to explore the surrounding area of Vík village including Dyrhólaey Peninsula, from where you have a breathtaking panoramic view to all directions with an endless black coastline to the west, Reynisdrangar rock formation to the east and Mýrdalsjökull Glacier to the north and Visit to the Reynisfjara Beach.
Next enjoy two legendary and stunning waterfalls, Skógafoss, one of the country’s most beautiful waterfalls, and Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Both are around 60 m high, but otherwise, they are very different. Skógafoss waterfall cascades gracefully from the former sea cliffs. Seljalandsfoss is sometimes referred to as "the unusual waterfall," there's a pathway that leads behind the curtain of falling water, offering you a unique experience and views.
Drive to the Golden Circle attraction is the thundering Gullfoss waterfall or the "Golden Falls." You will see golden-toned mists rising around the waterfall as the mighty Hvítá river crashes through two drops of 11 m and 21 m. Hvítá means 'White River.' This raging glacial torrent originates at Langjökull, the second-biggest glacier in Iceland.
Your next stop is at the Geysir geothermally active area, home to Great Geysir. This famous spouting hot spring gave us the English word 'geyser.' You will witness Strokkur, the most active hot spring in recent times, blasting powerful torrents of superheated water every 5 to 10 minutes. Steaming fumaroles and hot springs can also be seen around the area.
Our last stop in the Golden Circle attractions, a visit to the Þingvellir National Park, an incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site with immense geological, historical, and cultural significance. The historic Icelandic Parliament, called the Alþing, was founded here in 930 CE/AD. Icelandic Parliament is the oldest still existing democratic parliament in the world. The Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates continue to move apart, runs right through Þingvellir. You will see the rugged plate edge of the gorge. This must have been a really dramatic backdrop to the ancient parliamentary sessions!.
