Tamilnadu and Kerala Tour

Day 1: Chennai Arrival - Mahabalipuram (70kms/2hrs)

On your arrival at Chennai, you will be met by our Tamilnadu and Kerala tourexecutive and he will introduce your driver then transfer to Mahabalipuram. On your arrival check into the hotel. Relax at the beach.

Overnight at Ideal Beach Resort / Radisson Temple Bay, Mahabalipuram.

Day 2: Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (70kms/1.5hrs each way)

After breakfast drive to Kanchipuram for a day excursion. Visit to Kamakshi Amman temple, Varadharaja Perumal temple, Ekambareswarar temple (one of the Pancha Bootha Sthalas - Earth). Later transfer to Mahabalipuram and visit to Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance, Five Rathas Temple, Caves and Mandapams.

Day 3: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (100kms/2.5hrs)

After breakfast drive to Pondicherry. On your arrival check into the hotel and relax for a while. Later visit to Auroville, Sri Aurobhindo Ashram, Manakkula Vinayagar Temple and Relax at the beach. If you are here on Sunday, visit to Sunday Market in Pondicherry is famous for its lowest price; visiting the market in the evening gives a pleasant feel even though it is crowded.

Day 4: Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Gangaikondacholapuram - Kumbakonam (250kms)

After breakfast drive to Kumbakonam enroute visit to Chidambaram temple and then proceed to the UNESCO Temples at Gangaikondacholapuram. Later transfer to Kumbakonam and check into the hotel. Overnight at Paradise Resort/ Mantra Veppathur Resort, Kumbakonam during the tour to Tamilnadu and Kerala.

Day 5: Kumbakonam - Tanjore - Kumbakonam (35kms/30mins each way)

After breakfast drive to Tanjore and visit to Bragadheeshwarar Temple, Palace, and Art Gallery. Then return back to Kumbakonam for your night stay.

Day 6: Kumbakonam - Karaikudi (145kms/3hrs)

Next day of your Tamilnadu to Kerala tour, After breakfast drive to Karaikudi, on arrival check into the hotel and relax. Later visit to some of the local buildings of Significance.

Day 7: Karaikudi - Madurai (120kms/2.5hrs)

After breakfast drive to Madurai and check into the hotel and relax. Later visit toMeenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Naicker Mahal, Museum and Mariamman tank.

Day 8: Madurai - Periyar (150kms/4hrs)

After breakfast drive to Periyar, on arrival check into the hotel and relax. Later visit toPeriyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Spice plantation tour and you can do various activities like Bamboo Rafting, Elephant Ride/Experience, boat ride, etc., in Periyar.

Overnight at Spice Village/ Tree Top, Periyar during tour to Tamilnadu and Kerala.

Day 09: Periyar -Munnar (120kms /5hrs)

This morning after breakfast drive to Munnar; check into the hotel and relax. Explore the beauty of plantation hills by your own.

Day 10: Munnar

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar including Eravikulam National park, where you can see the very rare mountain goats, called Nilgiri Thar; then visit to Mattupetty dam, Echo point, Tea Museum, Raja Mala and Pothamedu - the lush green area is famous for Coffee, tea, and cardamom plantations. The zig zag mountainous road makes an excellent place for long walks in lap of nature. Overnight at Olive Brook / T & U Leisure, Munnar.

Day 11: Munnar - Kumarakom (190kms/5hrs)

After breakfast drive to Kumarakom; on your arrival check in to the hotel and relax. Kumarakom is a silent & small village on the banks of Vembanad Lake. It is a renowned backwater place across the world. It is an ideal place for Ayurvedic Massage, boating, fishing and bird watching during your Tamilnadu and Kerala Tour Packages.

Day 12: Kumarakom - Alleppey (Houseboat)

After a relaxed breakfast drive to Alleppey, Embark the Houseboat at around 12 noon; while cruising from Alleppey to Alleppey, you will pass through beautiful canals and lagoons, can watch day-to-day life of local people and you can enjoy by having the delicious Keralian meals prepared by the boat crews

Day 13: Alleppey - Cochin (70kms/1.5hrs)
